Monolith
Exhibited at the AHT Gallery
Dec 11 2023 - Jan 22 2024

Video sculpture that I produced and sourced materials for over the course of the Fall 2023 semester at UT Dallas.
The television footage is created using hardware video mixing and feedback from old camcorders.
Ambient soundscape was created by me in Ableton LIVE, played continuously throughout Monolith's run in the gallery, and yet never repeated itself.
Huge credit to Dean Terry and Tyler Haws for their mentorship and support.
Tang
Analog Video Mix and
Instrumental Accompaniment

Video mix inspired by old Tang commercials that used to be set in space.
Layered with found footage and original, crunchy CRT textures, reprocessed through old camcorders and set to original music created in collaboration with Ginormous Woman.
Mixed live alongside the music using the Roland V-8HD, pre-recorded analog textures mixed with the Roland V-1HD
Janus
Relief Mapping on Sculpture

A short light and projection display, mapped to Andrew Scott's two-headed Janus sculpture.
Projection graphics were created by remixing public pixel shaders ("Materials") in MadMapper 5.0, and I controlled the interior lights by routing DMX channels within the software to LED's in the sculpture.
A digital model and UV map of the sculpture were provided by Andrew Scott for digital calibration inside MadMapper in order to best activate the form.
